Like many people, I prefer to wear the same go-to jewellery every day and would often feel disappointed when my favourite modern pieces began to tarnish and spoil, because despite their high cost they were in reality gold plated. It felt so wasteful. 

I soon realised that vintage and antique pieces, made from solid gold, were the smartest way to go in terms of longevity and price per wear. More affordable than brand new gold plated jewellery and durable since they last forever! Unique to you because they are not mass produced. What's not to like?

Starting from more practical intentions, I quickly became obsessed by the intricate beauty and design details of old jewellery, that aligned perfectly with my personal style and reminded me of my nanas jewellery collection that I was fascinated by as a child.
